I write stories that refuse to stay in one lane. My work explores the vast territory between the poignant and the absurd, the grounded and the impossible. I am drawn to the hidden fractures in our world and the complex choices people make when the stakes are at their highest. Whether I am navigating high-concept science fiction, visceral thrillers, or subversive satire, my work is unified by a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to compelling storytelling.
A Perspective Shaped by High Stakes
My approach to the craft is informed by a career spent in high-consequence environments. I am a native of Baltimore and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. I retired from the Navy in 2022 as a helicopter pilot. Today, I balance a career in the private sector with the creative exploration of the human condition. I bring the technical precision of the cockpit and the rigor of my naval service to every page I write. This background provides the foundation for my work, allowing me to build believable worlds regardless of the genre.
